Ready to step into the ring? Paul “Triple H” Levesque and more pro wrestlers are pulling back the curtain on the world of wrestling in Netflix‘s WWE: Unreal.
Entertainment Weekly has an exclusive first look at the trailer for the five-episode docuseries that, for the first time ever, takes wrestling enthusiasts into the writers’ room of the WWE and reveals how storyline decisions are made. John Cena and Cody Rhodes are among some of the WWE superstars featured in the series.
Levesque — the 14-time WWE World Champion known as Triple H in the ring who has been chief content officer of WWE since 2022 — narrates the docuseries, produced by WWE alongside Omaha Productions, NFL Films, and Skydance Sports.
“Our business evolves and so do the expectations of our audience,” Levesque tells EW. “When you look at the track records of Omaha Productions and NFL Films, it felt like we had the right partners in place to pull back the curtain and showcase WWE in a brand-new way.”

The wrestling superstar is excited to showcase never-before-seen facets of the lives of his fellow pro wrestlers as they create “larger-than-life moments,” as well as the talented crew who help put together the expansive shows. Levesque adds, “From our superstars to our creative and production teams, the audience will see how much goes into bringing WWE to life — far more than people might imagine.”
Joining Triple H, Cena, and Rhodes in the docuseries are Rhea Ripley, CM Punk, Jey Uso, Bianca Belair, Chelsea Green, Charlotte Flair, and Xavier Woods.
The docuseries is part of Netflix’s expansive partnership with WWE, one that kicked off after the streamer secured the exclusive global streaming rights to the flagship series Raw in early 2025. Netflix is also now home to other WWE programs like SmackDown and NXT, as well as the live events WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble.
