Denise Richards’ family reality show not returning after news of divorce

The fate of Denise Richards‘ Bravo reality show Denise Richards & Her Wild Things has been revealed, just days after news broke that her husband Aaron Phypers had filed for divorce.

The eight-episode series, which first debuted on the network in March, will not be coming back for more, Entertainment Weekly has learned. However, it’s understood that the reality show was always intended to be a limited series.

Bravo declined to comment on the matter. A rep for Richards did not immediately return an EW request for comment Thursday.

Per the series’ synopsis, “The first time Richards opened up her family life for a reality series more than 15 years ago, she was navigating a notoriously difficult marriage, intense scrutiny and tabloid attention all while raising two young girls. This time around, life is more complicated and unpredictable. Richards and her family, which includes daughters Sami, Lola and Eloise, and husband Aaron, show us what their famous, loving and hilarious life is like.”

On a March episode of Denise Richards & Her Wild Thingsthe now exes talked about the possibility of divorce, when Richards joked that “it’s not easy being married to me” during a confessional interview with Phypers.

“It is not, and she said it! But this is it. I’m done,” Phypers claimed.

“Yeah, I’m never getting divorced again,” Richards added. “Even if we hate each other, I’m not gonna f—ing get divorced,” she said, to which Phypers responded, “Yeah, we’ll just have different homes or something. But we’re not gonna hate each other.”

Phypers first filed for divorce from Richards on July 7 after six years of marriage, according to court documents reviewed by EW. Phypers, who founded the now-shuttered wellness company, Quantum 360 Club, cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, which the filing said begun on July 4.
